Saturday events are all about fall flavors, family fun and the arts! Indulge in delicious candy corn-inspired menu items at the downtown bars and restaurants (menu items coming soon). Bring the kids for the St. Cloud Farmer’s Market, exciting activities through downtown, and grab a ticket to a performance of “Into the Woods” at the Paramount. Plus a scavenger hunt for golden apples with LARGE prizes!
The Silver Mullet Band: With a career spanning six decades, Bob Seger has sold more than 75 million records worldwide making him one of the world’s best-selling artists of all time. A true heartland rocker, Seger is best known for his powerful, raspy voice, and his relatable songwriting about love, women, and blue-collar themes. Based in Minneapolis MN, The Silver Mullet Band is a tribute to the music of Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band. The group covers the most popular Seger hits as well as choice B-sides with a set list spanning Seger’s 60+ year career featuring tunes from his early years with The Heard and The System through his movie soundtrack and popular duet performances. Into The Woods: This Tony-award winning musical is known for its clever storytelling and exquisite music with brilliant lyrics. It’s funny, dark, challenging, romantic, and full of possibilities – a cautionary tale that asks if “happily ever after” exists and reminds us to be careful what you wish for. 7:30 pm show at Paramount Center for the Arts GET TICKETS HERE
Beaver Island Comedy: Meet your headliner: Shyloh Blake is a Minneapolis-based stand-up comedian, who tells funny stories about navigating life’s awkward moments, which for her, are most moments. She was highlighted in the “Next Up On Stage” series on MNComedy.com which noted, “Her quick wit and warm delivery made Blake an instant hit, and after just a few short months she was being booked for shows.” Blake was selected for the 2023 10,000 Laughs Festival in Minneapolis, MN, appeared in the 2023 Sno Jam Comedy Festival in Sioux Falls, SD, and was a finalist in the 2022 “Funniest Person With a Day Job” contest at Rick Bronson’s House of Comedy at the Mall of America. She has been interviewed by, MPR News with Angela Davis, the TV show Twin Cities Live, KFAI Radio, and Voyage Minnesota magazine. Locally, she hosts “Stand-Up Saloon, ” at The Saloon in Minneapolis. Sunday events are happening on the East End and includes an art vendors, food truck festival, Touch A Truck, Touch a Puppy & Kitty, Kids Activities, Live Music Outside, and an antique car parade at 3pm ending at Copper Kitchen for a car show.
